New for 2020, the Ignite program will head to sunny Miami, Florida for both rounds of the 2020 SKUSA Winter Series. Tired of starting off each new year shoveling snow? Change it up – get on track this year and start the year off right. The AMR Motorplex will play host to both rounds of the SKUSA Winter Series that will feature Ignite Senior and Masters. .

Supplemental Rules

Supplemental Event Rules

  • Classes will run together on track and be scored separately
  • Push back bumpers will be utilized on both classes and will be a tech item to remain in accordance with SKUSA’s state of the art officiating system
  • Numbers with a yellow background, black font will be required in both classes
  • Ignite Senior kart numbers range from #600-699
  • Ignite Masters kart number range from #400-499
  • The spec Hilliard Flame clutch with 16t, #35 sprocket is required
  • Weights: Ignite Senior (360lbs) and Ignite Masters (370lbs)
  • Eligibility is open to all competitors, including previous Daytona, Brickyard, RIGP, Ignite Series and WKA winners
  • Spec DWT wheels are required, 135mm fronts (#75329) and 6.5” (#75425, Junior) / 7.75” rears (#75415, Senior)
  • Event will be run rain or shine, spec DWT wheels will  be used in the event of rain (Margay #75329 and #75425) on Hoosier 4.5/6.0 WET tires
  • New Hoosier R80 tires are not required at any point during the weekend.  The tires you qualify on will be the tires you are required to use for the rest of that days competition.
  • All bodywork must be CIK homologated KG Bodywork in unaltered form
  • Per the Ignite Rule Book, section 400.10 – “Front bumpers may not extend inside or outside the vertical plane of the front tires by more than 1 inch” and must be manufactured by KG Karting
  • Per the Ignite Rule Book, section 400.20 – “The front panel may not extend above the top of the steering wheel” and must be manufactured by KG Karting
  • 2019 Briggs LO206 engine package rules will be enforced
  • Spec fuel for this event will be 87 octane, available at the track
